This wine is made from 50 years old Syrah vines where peach trees were planted.
Inky ruby. Ripe, spice-accented cherry, blackberry and violet on the highly perfumed nose. Round and fleshy on the palate, offering intense dark fruit, floral pastille and cracked pepper flavors that turn sweeter on the back half. Finishes smooth and quite long, showing very good energy and fine-grained tannins that sneak in late. Perfect with grilled red meat.
